front of house team members

There are many positions within the front of house team and full training will be given to develop your skills. The front of house team are the face of the business so smart presentation and a friendly smile are a must! We like to develop the team to multi task so you can move between the roles to suit the cafés needs. It’s all about teamwork. You may start your day greeting guests and taking orders and move onto preparing our famous Espreskis, there’s always plenty to do.

We take our coffee seriously and offer comprehensive training to our Baristas to ensure every pour is perfect! It can be quite demanding as you’re on your feet, but there’s always a great atmosphere and we encourage you to get to know the guests.

back of house team members


The back of house team are responsible for ensuring that every dish is cooked to perfection, so an eye for detail is key. From our famous Big Breakfast to our Seasonal Classics, we have a broad menu and offer everything all day every day. The ability to multi task, communicate and work as a team is key in this role. We can offer a great environment to develop your skills from prepping and baking to grilling and frying. Working alongside the front of house team it can be a fun and fast paced environment with opportunity to progress and develop.

Assistant Managers support the Café Manager in the smooth running of the business. They will supervise and lead a large team to deliver exceptional service. Many Assistant Managers develop to become Café Managers once confident and experienced in all areas. It’s a great way to develop your leadership skills with the support of a Café Manager.

kitchen manager


Kitchen Managers lead the Back of House Team and are responsible for preparing all our dishes perfectly for the enjoyment of our guests. It can be a hectic environment, especially on a Sunday morning, but with a great team and professional set up, it can also be great fun. Kitchen Managers are also responsible for ordering stock, developing their team and maintaining a safe environment.

Café Managers are responsible for the day to day running of their café whilst leading their team to deliver exceptional service.  They must be passionate about being the face of the business and enjoy being part of the community. Great communication, leadership and organisational skills are key to this role.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and developing your team.
  • Maintaining high standards and driving exceptional guest service.
  • Creating rosters.
  • Ordering stock and completing stock takes.
  • Controlling costs.
  • Supervising Health & Safety in the café.

You’ll be expected to be in the café at peak times, which is often weekends and we open early at 6am so you need to love early mornings!
