At Dôme, our environmental impact is a high priority.  We have many initiatives in place that form part of our normal policies and procedures to ensure we have as minimal impact as possible on the environment.

 We encourage our Guests to dine in, where they are served food and beverages with proper, re-useable crockery and cutlery.  We’re proud to say that over 90% of our food and beverages are consumed on our premises.

 For the minority of our Guests who choose to take away our food and beverages, they do so in takeaway cups and containers that are recyclable and/or compostable, in line with the WA Government regulations.

 We participate in Containers For Change, collecting and returning all single use soft drink and water bottles and supporting local community groups with the monies raised from this initiative.

 Our kitchen separates waste into several streams, with cardboard, paper, glass and plastic collected separately from food scraps and sent to appropriate facilities for re-use, re-cycling or composting.

 At Dôme, our policies and procedures continue to evolve as we incorporate new ways of working to reduce our footprint even further on the environment.
