An apple a day

Ahhh Vienna! A city devoted to enchanting the senses. You have the music of Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert to delight the ears. And classic desserts like Strudel to delight the tastebuds. Inspired by this rich heritage, ours is a delicate symphony of Apple, Raspberry and Rhubarb. The perfect note to finish a meal on.

Meet your matcha

There’s a reason why matcha has been revered for over 1000 years. This vibrant green tea doesn’t just taste good, it does good. To achieve its distinctive hue, traditional green tea is grown in the shade, boosting chlorophyll production and antioxidants. Zen monks realised it was liquid mindfulness, a way to stay calm yet alert. Matcha occupies the caffeine middle ground, more of a kick than black or green tea, less of a buzz than coffee. And if that doesn’t perk you up, there’s that soothing shade of green that evokes the joy of being in nature.

Matcha Latte

Dial up the flavour

The Crusty Canvas

Bruschetta might be one of Italy’s simplest appetisers, but don’t let that fool you, it’s also one of the most mouth watering. Born in ancient Rome, the earliest versions were all about grilling leftover bread over an open fire. The name itself comes from “bruscare,” meaning “to toast” or “roast over coals.” Rustic, resourceful, and downright tasty.

Originally served with just a drizzle of olive oil and a rub of garlic, bruschetta has since become a beautiful blank canvas for fresh, flavourful toppings, think juicy tomatoes, fragrant basil, and creamy haloumi. Enjoy our take on this Italian classic with our Grilled Haloumi & Tomato Bruschetta.

A Berry Good Bowl

Wait, avocados are berries? Yes, it’s true. They may not look the part, but in the world of botany, they tick all the boxes. And honestly, they might just be the ultimate berry. Packed with heart-healthy fats, fibre, and essential nutrients, these creamy green gems are a powerhouse in every bite. No wonder the Aztecs and Mayans saw them as symbols of love - romantic and ridiculously good for you. You’ll find a generous serve, in fact, half an avocado, nestled in our Brekky Bowls.

Cauliflower Power

When you say ‘Vitamin C’ most people think oranges. But the cauliflower is an equally rich source of this immune boosting, cold-busting nutrient. Which makes it the perfect ingredient for this hearty winter soup. The secret to our soup’s depth of flavour, is the cauliflower is roasted. Lightly caramelising the florets gives the soup a gentle sweetness and nuttiness, while still retaining that comforting, creamy goodness. A dollop of sour cream and grilled bacon pieces dial up the yum factor even further. And because you’ll want to mop up every last drop, we serve it with a toasted cheesy panini.

Now That’s a Wrap!

One country’s wrap is another’s tortilla. Or naan. Or pita. Or piadina. So who gets the credit for inventing this not so bready way to enjoy your favourite fillings? History points to the ancient Egyptians being the pioneers of wrap and roll.

Why Salmon is always A Smart Choice

Omega-3. It sounds like an expensive watch brand, however it’s actually an essential fatty acid that your body and brain need to function. As your body can’t make Omega-3, you need to get it through your diet - oily fish like salmon are a great source. If that’s not reason enough to order the salmon, all fish are an excellent source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Oh, did we forget to mention that it’s also delicious?

Baked Salmon with Couscous & Cauliflower

Baked Salmon fillet served over couscous with roasted cauliflower, alongside a tomato, cucumber and red onion salad and a refreshing raita.

A Modern Classic

Butter Chicken was first made in 1948 by a young Pakistani chef, who began experimenting with creamier flavours of tandoori chicken. When he opened his own restaurant in Delhi, he needed a way to use up the already cooked tandoori chicken, so he slowly stewed it in a gravy of tomatoes, spices and butter. And so, the comforting Butter Chicken that we know and love today was born.

Slide of Hand

Thanks to the mini but mighty Slider, eating a burger is no longer a fiddly two-handed task. The Slider takes everything you love in a traditional burger, then puts it in an easier to get your hand - and mouth - around size. That user-friendly bun equals more fun – hold hands under the table, keep on colouring in, write while you bite… First introduced over 100 years ago, they have grown in popularity ever since. And because they’re half the size of a full-size burger, we serve them as a delicious duo.

Feel The Pull

The secret to melt in your mouth pulled pork is you need to take it low and slow. The combination of time and a gentle temperature transform pork shoulder into meat so tender, it can be easily pulled apart. Pulled pork is synonymous with the American South, where each state seems to have their own twist on how to make this iconic dish. Some regions go for a sweeter sauce (Texas!), while others add more spice, heat, vinegar or ketchup to their sauce. We reckon it would make for a delicious road trip to discover which region’s pork has the most pull.

Cookie Monstered

The tradition is a glass of cold milk with cookies: pairing the creamy goodness of dairy with the delightful chewiness of a warm cookie. But this is your nostalgic treat, taken to the next level of indulgence. We’ve gone double dairy, with both a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Then tripled the chocolate factor, by creating a choc chip studded cookie with a gloriously gooey hazelnut chocolate centre, and for good measure topped the entire creation with lashings of chocolate sauce. You’re welcome!
